We did it. We’ve made it to the end of another wild year. And if you’re anything like us, then you know 2021 was a journey! From web design to web development, and from branding to digital marketing, our team brought over 50 projects to a close (with many more still underway). We’re taking some time to reflect on everything we’re grateful for and what we look forward to in the new year. Here’s what our team had to say:
Sarah Brown, Managing Partner + Technical Director
I’m so grateful to be working in an industry that didn’t see heavy impacts from the pandemic, and for our current team who rode it out with us through an insanely busy year! I was also able to purchase a townhome as a solo parent at the start of 2021 and that was a CHALLENGE. But every single day I feel so lucky to have found a place and not have to worry about unstable housing anymore.
As for 2022, I hope we all get a bit of breathing room to enjoy the success we’ve been experiencing while maintaining a steady flow in business. I also hope to continue expanding our service offerings when it comes to custom web and app development. And I am SO SO HOPEFUL that 2022 marks the return of music festivals, dancing, and general fun times!
Kristina Crowson, Managing Partner + Lead Marketing Strategist
I‘m extremely grateful and proud of the camaraderie within our office. I value our team A LOT. To see trust develop and fostered, while friendships are built is just a beautiful thing. I’m thankful for my own health, my family, and my friends. I’m glad I’ve made it through the mental health challenges Covid-19 had us all endure.
I’m hopeful that in 2022, we’ll see continued strength in the Canadian and global economy. (I’m not asking for much!) I want to continue supporting current clients through their pain points while acquiring a few new ones in hopes of doing some cutting-edge campaigns. On a personal level, I’m hopeful for a well-balanced household emotionally. I’ve got kids in different stages (11, and almost 4), which creates different parenting challenges. I’m working on some personal growth in this area (wish me luck)! Also, my husband and I are renovating our next family home, which I downplay, but I’m extremely excited about moving in and decorating.
Suttasinee Tsao, Developer
I’m grateful for this job and our team. Not only do I get to work from home with flexible hours, but I get to work with kind, talented, and amazing people. We all help each other to achieve success. I’m also grateful for my happy family and our health.
In 2022, I’m hopeful for new and exciting projects with challenges our team can solve. I also hope we can travel again. I would like to take my kids to visit their grandparents in Taiwan and Thailand. And if it’s in the cards, I’m hoping to get an electric car next year.
Bryan Keddy, Copywriter + Digital Marketer
I’m thankful for our team. The past two years have undoubtedly had their own set of pivotal challenges for many, both personally and professionally. But I’m thankful I got to spend time surrounded by a group of passionate, driven people who kept their eye on the prize and continued forging ahead, proving we can pull off amazing things together, no matter how crazy the world gets.
I’m also extremely thankful all my friends and family have their health. The pandemic really put that in perspective. I’m thankful for each day that passes where my friends, family, and team are healthy and well.
As for 2022, I look forward to continual learning, growing, and leveling up through bigger, better, and exciting new challenges. I hope to see more equality, recovery, and prosperity in the economy for all Canadians. On a personal level, I’m hopeful this mad, absurd, and unhinged housing market cools down enough to give me a chance to buy my first home. That or I win the lottery.

I’m grateful to be a part of such a wonderful team. Everyone is full of warmth and character and I feel appreciated and welcomed. I’m also grateful for my family and friends whose support and encouragement to keep moving forward brings me joy and strength.
I’m hoping to see even more growth and team camaraderie in 2022 and to achieve all my health goals. Above all else, I’m hopeful for a healthy beautiful grandchild who is on the way!

I’m grateful for having the opportunity to learn every day and work with a group of people that have shown me nothing but support and love. I’m really happy to be part of this team. I’m also very grateful for my chubby little dog being here when I’ve needed her most and having a supportive family even though they live in another country.
In 2022, I look forward to learning and growing as a professional, gaining more confidence in my work, and to keep having fun!

This year I joined the Array Team and it’s what I’m most grateful for. Even though I’ve only been working with this crew for a short time, I feel like I’ve known them forever and it’s been a major blessing. I’m also incredibly grateful for my health and the health of those I care about dearly. I hope to see this continue into 2022 and that our team continues mastering their skills by knocking more goals out of the park!

I’m grateful I joined a fabulous team of creative and hard-working individuals who value what I have to offer and have accepted me into their family. It’s been great to work in an industry that’s had plenty of work during these uncertain times. I’m also grateful for my health and the health of my family.
Looking ahead, I’m hopeful for exciting new projects that push me creatively and bring success and new opportunities to Array. I hope to save more and eventually become a first-time home-buyer so I can take the title of crazy animal lady and fill it up with more fur babies—puppies and kittens are in my future!
Kim Weber, Junior Developer
As the newest member of this crew, I’m grateful for having a wonderful job working with great people. I’m also grateful for living close to friends and family and all the time I got to spend with them.
I’m hopeful for a healthy bank account and to improve my skills within web development in order to create some new and creative websites. I look forward to spending more time with my friends and family, and for the cool releases that come out in 2022.
