Job Role:
Account Executive – Sales

Do you have outstanding active listening skills? Do you love to build relationships? Are you a team player who likes to stay up to date on the latest tech, keep a watchful eye out on marketing trends, and follow and engage with your favourite brands online? Are you motivated and willing to push yourself to achieve your goals? Are we speaking your lingo, yet? If so, you’ll be great at sales!

Daily Responsibilities

  • A high focus on customer service and external relationship building
  • Hunting and developing lead lists through research to secure sales
  • Support with developing an outbound sales strategy
  • Support with fielding potential client phone calls and scheduling discovery meetings
  • Negotiating to secure profitable sales volume and ensure client satisfaction
  • Multi-tasking, prioritizing, and problem-solving as issues arise
  • Attend events and support the production of live social media content
  • Collaborate with the account management on closed sale handoff to an active account
  • Coordinate and gather assets from clients (as needed)
  • Communicate with clients, affiliate networks, and affiliate partners
  • Contribute to overall marketing strategy and brand awareness campaigns for Array
  • Brainstorming content and campaign ideas that drive results for clients (as needed)

Mandatory Skills:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of sales experience. You are comfortable presenting to a full boardroom or Zoom session
  • An active presence across multiple social media platforms (aka digitally savvy)
  • Attentive listener. You love to jump on the phone to get to know folks!
  • Strong communication skills and determination
  • Highly organized
  • Must be a team player

Hours:

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday / 35 to 40 hours per week. At this time, we are not considering applications from out of the country, and the ideal candidate is able to work part-time in our Nanaimo office, and part-time from home, remotely. Our crew are TWAT’s – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the office, Monday & Friday from home.

Compensation:

Negotiable based on skills and experience, the commission is uncapped. A benefits package is available for employees after a probationary period provided they maintain full-time employment. Additionally, we include a $500 per year health & wellness payment to help you take care of our personal well-being.
