Array is currently seeking people to join our team in the following positions:
Social Media Assistant
Front End Developer

Do you have a passion for social media? Do you love to follow and engage with your favourite brands online? Or maybe you just spend way too much time on social media platforms? Are we speaking your lingo, yet? If so, you might be a great candidate for our team’s newest role, Social Media Assistant.

In this entry-level role, your daily duties could include any of the following:

  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
    Support with planning and research for multiple social media accounts.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create a social media calendar.
  • Coordinate and gather assets from clients based on social media deliverables.
  • Communicate with clients, affiliate networks, and affiliate partners.
  • Contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Brainstorming content and campaign ideas that drive results for clients.

Mandatory Skills:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • An active presence across multiple social media platforms (aka social media savvy).
  • Data and results-driven.
  • Attentive listener.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Must be a team player.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Facebook Business & Ad Manager.
  • Optional: Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications.
  • Optional: videography experience (scriptwriting, editing, reels, etc.).


This position is Monday to Friday / 25 to 30 hours per week with an opportunity to move to full-time. At this time, we are not considering applications from out of the country, and the ideal candidate is able to work part-time in our Nanaimo office, and part-time from home, remotely.


Negotiable based on skills and experience. A benefits package is available for employees after a probationary period providing they maintain 25+hours per week.

Do you have a passion for web with an eye for design? Do you possess the technical skills to create appealing, functional websites? Do you enjoy creating custom solutions for complex problems? Do you set a high standard for yourself and have an appetite to learn? Can you work both independently and in a team-oriented environment?

We are hiring a front-end developer that possesses formal training or on the job experience in responsive website design and development, with at least 1–2 years experience in the field. In this position, you will be developing, deploying, testing, and monitoring custom websites and web apps. Your primary role will be building user-friendly web and mobile sites and web apps from the ground up, while collaborating with team members and clients across multiple disciplines, skills, and backgrounds. Your responsibilities range, but are not limited to, WordPress development, web app development, and Shopify & WooCommerce development.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Highly experienced with custom layouts using HTML5 / CSS3
  • Experience with jQuery / Javascript, including sourcing & integrating libraries
  • Experience with custom WordPress theme development, including custom post types, ACF, and writing templates from the ground up
  • Experience with basic WooCommerce
  • Knowledgeable enough about PHP to write custom functions to solve unique client needs within WordPress
  • Basic+ experience with files designed in Adobe XD

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SASS
  • Experience with Ajax, extra points for Ajax within WordPress
  • Experience with Databases / MySQL
  • Experience with Liquid and custom Shopify themes
  • Previous experience with React / React Native
  • Highly detail oriented with a design eye

Job Duties:

  • Slicing Adobe XD files and developing with HTML/CSS/SASS/PHP/jQuery
  • Responsive website development
  • CMS Setup and management (WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify)
  • Javascript programming, including the use of jQuery and other libraries.
  • PHP development
  • Advising design on suggestions for interactive components


This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday / 35 to 40 hours per week. At this time we are not considering applications from out of the country, and the ideal candidate is able to work part-time from our Nanaimo office.


Negotiable based on skills and experience, between $40,000 to $70,000 annually. A benefits package is available for full-time employees after a probationary period.
