How has your education or experience prepared you for your career?

I have a Bachelor of Humanities from Carleton University and a Certificate of Journalism from Langara College. As a BHums student, I quickly learned how to dig for information and communicate it effectively. As a journalist grad, I love picking up the phone to chase a good story and am always driven to create positive experiences for anyone I connect with.

What kind of clients do you like to work with?

I love working with people across all industries. It’s one of the best parts of this job. I respect people who are open to collaboration and understand the value of great creative work, including the time it takes to do it. I personally believe there’s a solution to every problem and it’s easy to get there when great minds work together!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be (and still kinda do) a travel journalist. Travelling is one of my favourite activities and so is writing. And I’ve always dreamed of fusing these two passions together. I’ve lived in a 1980 Vanagon over two winters travelling up and down the west coast, and I moved to Costa Rica in my early twenties to surf and learn Spanish. Travelling has taught me so much about myself and exposed me to so many unique cultures. I’m so grateful for the people I meet on the road and the stories they have to share.
