Helping hearts breathe happily

Breath Control

Nanaimo, BC

Breath Control offers breathwork training programs that deliver powerful physical and mental benefits to improve performance, health, and happiness. We collaborated with Breath Control a few years back in the development of their brand identity and connected with them again most recently with the design of an event poster for a Women’s Heart Health Month workshop.

What Work Did We Do For Them?

  • Brand development
  • Logo design
  • Event poster

How Did We Help Them Out?

  • The wordmark in the logo design cleverly turns the letter B into a pair of lungs while incorporating a wave into the space that communicates airflow, rhythm, and approachability.
  • The typography communicates a brand that is timeless, professional, and dependable. The solid, squared-off, and balanced lines represent confidence and wisdom, while the consistent spacing between letters symbolizes rhythm and balance.
  • Blending the brand identity with a female-focused design style, the event poster features hand-drawn typography for a personal touch that creates visual contrast and draws the eyes in.
