Led by Vancouver Island real estate developer Mike Geric Construction, Mateah is a proposed mixed-use development in Royal Oak that will include more than 250 residential homes, commercial and light industrial businesses and a non-profit daycare centre. In need of a website that would share the message of the community vision behind Mateah, Array designed a single-page website, along with a stylized wordmark to serve as the visual landmark of this innovative and exciting proposed Saanich development.

What Work Did We Do For Them?

  • Focusing on raising awareness and brand recognition, we went with a timeless and contemporary wordmark logo that can be seamlessly integrated across multiple platforms and mediums. Opting for a sans serif font, the wordmark features straight lines with perfectly angled diagonals that reflect the harmonious architectural character of the mixed-use community.
  • With the project still in its early phases of development, it was important for the client to be able to make updates as the project progressed. The single-page website features an interactive timeline that allows users to scroll through the project timeline and view milestones, image galleries, and upcoming announcements.
