Daily Responsibilities
- Keyword & Market Research, Keyword Analysis Reports
- SEO Site Audits
- Conversion Optimization
- Competitive Analysis
- Coordination of Access to Digital Properties (Business Accounts, Ads Accounts)
- Implementation of SEO Best Practices On & Offsite
- Local Business SEO Optimization
- Review Analytics and User Recordings to Optimize SERP & Conversions
- Digital Marketing Analysis, Reporting & Recommendations (Upsells)
- Supporting the development of Information Architectures
- Content Creation for Blogs
- Content Creation for Digital Ads
- Coordination of Digital Ad Assets
- Support with Execution For Search Engine Marketing (Adwords/Display Ads)
- Support with Execution and Review For Social Media PPC
- Support with Direct Communication with Retainer Clients
- Support with Digital Marketing Strategy and Quote Development
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Ads, Search Console, and SEO Strategy
- Understanding of Meta and LinkedIn Business Suites & Ad Managers
- An active presence across multiple social media platforms (aka social media savvy)
- Data and results-driven
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Attentive listener
- Confident meeting with clients face-to-face and answering the phone
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized
- Must be a team player
Preferred Skills:
- Meta or Google Certified (Or in progress)
- Experience using Canva Pro
- Well-versed in Google Workspace
- Knowledge of WordPress Content Management
- Optional: Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications (or similar degree)
Hours:
This position is full-time or part-time, Monday to Friday / 30+ hours per week. At this time, we are not considering applications from out of the country, and the ideal candidate is able to work part-time in our Nanaimo office, and part-time from home, remotely. We’re TWAT’s — Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the office, Monday & Friday from home.
Compensation:
Negotiable based on skills and experience – we are open to hearing from applicants of all levels. As a reference, 5+ years of experience starts at $60,000 annually. A benefits package is available for employees after a probationary period provided they maintain full-time employment. Additionally, we include an annual health & wellness payment to help you take care of your personal well-being.
