Looking for the best Halloween events in Nanaimo this year? We’ve got you. At Array, we’re proud to live and work in a community that loves creativity as much as we do. So, whether you’re into haunted houses, cozy markets, or dancing with the dead, our city has something for every ghost and ghoul. Here are the top five Halloween events in the Nanaimo region you won’t want to miss.

1. BumbleBees Farm: Nanoose Bay Halloween Walk

Dates: October 24–26, 2025
Times: 12–3pm (Sat & Sun), 6:30–8pm or 8–9:30pm (Fri–Sun)
Details: Tickets $18 each or family pack of (5) for $75

Since 2016, Bumblebee Farm transforms into a whimsical Halloween trail filled with lights, spooky décor, and fall magic. The Nanoose Bay Halloween walk offers two adventures: The Spooky Walk (perfect for families of all ages) and the Scary Walk (not suitable for kids 6 and under, children must be accompanied by an adult). 2. Beban Haunt 2025 “A Canary’s Warning”

Dates: October 24 & 25, 27 & 28, 30 & 31
Time: 6:00 PM to 10 PM
Details: Entry by Donation (minimum $5)

Ready to scream? Hauntville Horror is back with a brand new theme: “A Canary’s Warning.” Step into Prosper Peak Mine, where something… not-so-human… still lurks underground. This is Nanaimo’s premier haunted house experience. And yes, it gets intense. Great for thrill seekers. Not for the faint of heart. You’ve been warned. 3. Cedar Halloween Market

Date: Sunday, October 26
Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Details: Free Entry

Support local makers while loading up on treats, crafts, cosplay finds, and spooky décor. This outdoor market blends cozy fall vibes with Halloween flair. Think pumpkin spice meets witchy Etsy storefront. Costumes encouraged. Impulse purchases guaranteed. Get the details here.

4. Día de los Muertos at Bar Luna

Date: Saturday, November 1
Time: 9:00 PM til Late
Details: $15, cash at door

Halloween might bring the scares, but Día de los Muertos brings the soul. This vibrant Mexican tradition is all about honouring loved ones with music, colour, and community. Bar Luna is throwing the party of the season with high-energy Latin music from Sol Aravena and his Soft Latin Ensemble. 5. Haunted Holiday Market

Date: Saturday, November 1
Time: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Details: Entry by donation

Can’t let go of the spooky season? Same! This post-Halloween market keeps the chills going with gothic goodies, handcrafted art, and eerie treasures. Hosted by Cadaver Carnival Studios at Wellington Hall, this event supports a good cause. Entry is by donation with proceeds supporting Loaves & Fishes and The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive.
