Grey River Netting

Going from a mom-and-pop shop to a globally recognized brand.

Grey River Netting Inc. is an industry leader in netting solutions. Having started out as a small local business on Vancouver Island in 1996, they scaled their business to become an international competitor offering custom netting solutions across the globe. As a result, they needed a new brand and website to convey their level of quality and professionalism more accurately. They approached Array to elevate their brand and marketing touchpoints with a clean and modernized design and website that reflects their premium products and service.

How Did We Help Them Out?
  • Using their business values as a starting point, we got to work on brand development. We created a new logo design that better represents their professional expertise. The concept is based on the Turk’s Head knot (AKA a Sailor’s knot). The uniform line weight and hand-drawn look of the icon showcases the quality and durability of Grey River Netting’s craftsmanship and love of the ocean. The typography chosen matches the line weight of the icon reflecting consistency and dependability.
  • Once we established their brand identity, our web developers got to work on building a fully responsive and dynamic website that’s desktop and mobile-friendly. The site includes unique custom icons, easy navigation, and animated features from floating banners to hover states that reflect moving waves of the sea. The end result is a highly engaging and fluid experience from page to page.
  • Our graphic design team put together marketing collateral including product tags, business cards, and stationery to ensure a consistent and professional brand experience offline.
  • As a final touchpoint, we custom-designed vehicle decals to increase brand awareness while Grey River Netting is on the road.
