Campbell River, B.C.
Pacific Modular offers durable and affordable housing solutions for coastal and remote communities in B.C. Formed as a partnership between two family-owned and locally operated general contracting companies in Campbell River, this new venture had all the components for success. The only piece missing to make their public debut was a stand-out brand. Having worked with one of the partners in the past, they reconnected with our marketing agency to execute logo design, brand development, and web design. Our expert team of copywriters, graphic designers, and web developers teamed up to create a brand and website that did more than turn heads. It won a platinum award too.

- When we kick off any brand development project, the first place we start is logo design. For Pacific Modular’s logo, we drew inspiration from shapes used in their modular home designs. The repetition of an angled square creates a 3D effect that ties back to the quality, efficiency, and scalability they bring to each build. We paired the icon with a sans-serif font that harmonizes with the logo’s simple line-work. For the word ‘Modular,’ we chose a slightly rounded sans serif typeface, giving the overall logo a warm and inviting quality that connects back to home. Our mind-bending logo design won silver in the 2024 Muse Awards in the Corporate Identity – Logos category.
- With a logo in place, our graphic designers created brand guidelines that identify rules for logo usage, the established font family, and colour palette. Using these guidelines, our graphic design team created branded collateral including business cards and letterhead to ensure brand consistency is maintained across all marketing touch points.
- To attract their target demographic, Pacific Modular needed a website that would position them as a viable housing solution for remote and coastal areas so they could attract leads. Our team put together an Information Architecture that outlines key pages and navigation structure so we can better understand the user journey. Our copywriting team used this framework to write persuasive content that swiftly guides users to action.
- For the web design, our web designers took a sophisticated minimalist approach using ample white space to create an open and inviting feel. They introduced overlapping, custom elements inspired by the logo to create depth and used colour blocking to create variety and vibrancy. Our web designers also used AI to enhance 3D renderings and established icons that align with the overall brand identity.
- Our web developers built the site to be responsive on both desktop and mobile using a custom WordPress theme. Custom functions include an interactive and conversational contact form, an intuitive Content Management System, and custom post types for Modular Homes. The site also includes custom animations and parallax scroll to maintain engagement.
- Because Pacific Modular was a new business to the market, boosting their visibility online was important in getting them in front of the right audience. Our digital marketing team put together a Keyword Analysis that identifies keywords they could rank high for on search engines. Partnering with our web developers, we put together a FAQs page with post types tailored to each keyword that could easily be indexed by Google.
- Our partnership with Pacific Modular continues. To date, our graphic designers in Nanaimo have created truck wraps and road signage that compliment our logo design and brand development. Our web developers continue to add new pages and function to the website to help their sales teams close leads.
