The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) and Emergency Management Cowichan (EMC) work together to support community safety and sustainability across the Cowichan Valley. To help residents better understand local water systems and how they can conserve water, they partnered with Array to bring their story to life. With general direction from the CVRD, our team conceptualized and executed the full creative process. Our services included script development, voiceover talent acquisition and direction, illustrations, and animations. We produced an engaging animated video that transforms technical information into clear educational content, empowering the community to conserve water one drop at a time.

- Our team collaborated closely with the CVRD and EMC to develop a video concept that would effectively educate residents about water systems. After considering the content outline and target demographic, we decided to create an animated video with voiceover and captions to visually demonstrate how water systems operate.
- Our copywriters crafted a script that effectively balanced clarity and informational value, ensuring easy comprehension of key concepts.
- We cast and directed voice talent to bring the script to life, selecting a tone that would resonate with viewers and maintain their engagement.
- Our design team created detailed storyboards to map out the video’s flow, ensuring that each visual element complemented the key messages. We chose an illustrated style that would best connect with the target audience and align with the educational tone.
- With the style finalized, we developed custom hand-drawn illustrations of the water systems, then brought them to life through animation, making the information both visually engaging and easy to absorb.
