Foreign Trade Zone Vancouver Island (FTZVI)

Foreign Trade Zone Vancouver Island (FTZVI) is an association founded by the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance (VIEA) to help boost export capacity across municipalities in the region. Their primary goal was to support local trade and foreign direct investment with one point of access to information on relevant government policies and programs. In doing so, they could streamline the exporting process, help businesses access financial advantages and boost the economy across varying regions. Having worked with Array before, VIEA approached us to design and develop a customized website for FTZ-VI that could meet this demand and articulate information as clearly as possible.

How Did We Help Them Out?
  • Using the VIEA website style, we incorporated their colour palette and similar navigation to ensure brand consistency between both organizations. As a result, FTZVI is easily recognized as a branch of VIEA establishing authority and trust in the international market.
  • Established content hierarchy by developing an infrastructure that reduces content clutter and gets readers to relevant information fast.
  • Designed an interactive map that showcases Vancouver Island regions and economic development divisions using colour coding and custom clickable icons that take users to relevant links.
  • Made the website responsive to ensure usability on all mobile devices.
