Island Good

Keeping our community unique with one-of-a-kind products

Island Good is a place brand trademarked and licensed by the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance (VIEA) that helps shoppers identify local Vancouver Island & Gulf Islands products. The Island Good logo is found on everything from food and beverages to airplane parts and more. In need of an all-in-one solution that would serve the needs Vancouver Island shoppers and Island Good producers, we partnered with VIEA on the design and development of a new website with UI/UX design in mind. The result is a new website that promotes local Island Good producers and makes it easier for shoppers to find local Island products.

How Did We Help Them Out?
  • The website addresses user inquiries head-on and integrates them into the design flow by walking them through actions, prompting them to identify their needs, and allowing them to engage with the content at their own pace.
  • To find local products, users can search through the licensee database using a menu that allows them to customize their search by Category, such as Producers, Retailers, or Cafes & Restaurant, Region, and Size of Organization.
  • A custom user profile system allows Island Good licensees to set-up member accounts, in which they can upload a logo, general information, company description, and where to find their products/business location(s).
