Discovery meeting

Our first meeting, and the project kickoff. This meeting is to learn all about you: your existing brand (if applicable), what you like and don’t, and your goals and vision for your new brand.

Project timeline

Together, we plan key milestones and proposed dates for completion of your brand, based on your needs and schedule.

Research

Armed with your briefing documents, notes from our discovery meeting, and our own analysis of your existing assets, we complete any additional research to build a foundation for the brand.

Concept

Once research is complete, we start conceptualizing your brand – its look and feel, its characteristics (or personality!), and the distinct message that it will convey.

Copywriting

With a direction in mind for your brand, we develop a “narrative tone,” considering your organization as a person, and striving to emulate how it would speak. This is used for taglines, slogans, positioning or mission statements, or other written assets you need.

Logo

Logo design is a four step process: concepts, feedback, revisions, and approval. Typically a selection of initial concepts are presented, and you choose a front runner or two for further revision and testing. A single logo is then selected, refined, and finalized in multiple formats.

Collateral

The list of the types of collateral is nearly endless, and we will tailor a collateral package for you based on your business requirements. Common print pieces include business cards, sales sheets, brochures, and signage. Collateral can also include digital assets such as social media graphics and digital ads.

Brand identity guidelines

Congratulations, you have a gorgeous, functional new brand identity that clearly represents your organization. The final step is development of written brand guidelines that outline how to use it effectively without compromising its integrity or purpose.
